Chief Minister
Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy popularly known as YSR, was the 14th chief minister of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, serving from 2004 to 2009.
Lok Sabha
Dr YSR was elected to the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Lok Sabha from the Kadapa constituency for four terms and to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly for five terms from the Pulivendula constituency.
Death
On 2 September 2009, a helicopter carrying Reddy went missing in the Nallamala Forest area. The next morning media reported that the helicopter wreckage had been found on top of Rudrakonda Hill.

Dr YSR Praja Prasthanam Seva Trust (DrYSRPPST) is a Non-Profit organization. Dr YSR Praja Prasthanam Seva Trust(R) is charitable trust that provides food/clothes and shelter to orphan children, old people, provides scholarships to merit students and rendering service to the poor on various occasions. The trust has done number of welfare programmes to the poor people of Tirupati and surrounding areas. Mr. Bhumana Karunakara Reddy, MLA Tirupati has today launched Dr. YSR Praja Prasthanam Seva Trust on the occasion at Jul-08-2020 his 71st Jayanthi of Late Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy. Dr. PC RAYULU Chairman of the Trust Mr.Bhuman Subramanyam Reddy Vice Chairman, Mr. Palavali Ramachandra Reddy Secretary, Rudraraju Sreedevi Director and others participated on this occassion.

Mr. Karunakar Reddy has distributed to the essential commodities kit (5kg rice,1ltr oil 1kg dall 1kg each of mirchipoweder and salt )to the municipal sanitary workers who is honestly working for dangerous COVID-19 Potions.
